No commentsIt Is Fine. Everything Is Fine article
An article I found on one of Lauren’s upcoming movies!
In the 74-minute film, “It Is Fine. Everything Is Fine“, directors Crispin Hellion Glover and David Brothers capture a genre-styled movie that lives out a fantastical life of screenwriter and actor, Steven C. Stewart. Depending on who sees it, “It Is Fine. Everything Is Fine” is like art, and can be interpreted in many ways.
“I think [the movie] means a lot of things, [in which] they [all] genuinely come across [in the film]. [Our goal was to] make sure to not interfere with a naïve element that was apparent in the screenplay,” Glover said.
“It Is Fine. Everything Is Fine” will be showing December 15 and 16 at 8pm at the Castro Theatre at 426 Castro Street.

Behind the scenes of Dark Country
A cute inside story about the filming of Dark Country, enjoy!
No commentsThe Punisher star Thomas Jane has discovered making movies is a tough business - he has to keep his cast warm.
The actor is making his directorial debut with a 3-D thriller called Dark Country, which is currently shooting on location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jane is also starring in the project alongside Texas Chainsaw Massacre actress Lauren German and Hellboy’s Ron Perlman.
And he admits it’s a challenge just keeping his castmates comfortable.
He explains, “It’s a lot of work. We’re shooting nights and it’s a challenge. It’s getting a little nippy out here and it’s supposed to be a summer night scene, so my poor co-star, Lauren German, is out there wearing next to nothing. She’s freezing for her art.
“But I’m secretly having a great time; I have a great cast and a fantastic crew.”

Lauren German, Ron Perlman Wander Dark Country
A new movie for Lauren and it sounds interesting - concerns a couple who find their honeymoon to be a hellish adventure.
2 commentsOver the summer we had the pleasure of chatting with Thomas Jane who gave Shock the low-down on his thriller The Dark Country. At the time, Jane was in prep, undaunted by the challenge of not only tackling his directorial debut but executing it in the 3-D.
Variety reports shooting has begun in Albuquerque, New Mexico with actors Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Lauren German, the stunner recently seen in Eli Roth’s Hostel Part II.
Hyde Park is still overseeing the project; more specifically, Patrick Aiello and Ashok Amritraj are producing. Sony will release it under one of its banners.
Jane is shooting “Country” both in standard and 3-D format to accomodate theaters not equipped with the proper projection system.
